PDH FORK LIFT TRAINING SERVICES are an RTITB Ltd accredited training provider who have been established since 1992 and in that time we have trained/tested in excess of 13000 operators.
The companies that we supply range from having one operator trained per year to 250.
We can supply instructors and examiners who are able to carry out training to the legal requirements of the HEALTH and SAFETY at WORK act 1974 (HaSaW act 1974), The APPROVED CODE of PRACTICE for lift truck training (L117), LIFTING OPERATIONS AND LIFTING EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS 1998 (LOLER98) and the PROVISION and USE of WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS 1998 (PUWER98).
Research
It is estimated that each year there are over 20,000 reportable injuries involving transport at work sites of which about one third involve lift trucks. These injuries, some fatal (12 fatalities in 2019), create suffering for those involved and their dependants. They also involve a heavy cost on the employers business. Even an accident not involving injury may result in costly damage.
